Information trouvée : Architect A. Hays Town, who shaped Baton Rouge's residential aesthetic in the second
half of the 20th century, died Thursday. He was 101. During his first professional
stint in Jackson, Miss., his designs gained the attention of national publications.
He came to Baton Rouge in 1939 and designed several church and government buildings.
In the 1960s, Town began focusing on building homes and quickly created a distinctive
style that became popular among other designers
