Information trouvée : Engraver and draughtsman. Born Gdansk c. 1610, died Hamburg 1664 or Gdansk 1667 -
buried in Gdansk. Worked in Paris 1639-45, and in Danzig from 1646, where he produced
a large series of portraits of Polish dignitaries until 1655. Appointed court engraver
to Christina of Sweden in 1650, but continued to work with Danzig publishers, principally
Georg Förster (q.v.). In Copenhagen in 1655, then in Amsterdam. Lived in Hamburg from
1657
