Information trouvée : décès 2004. Nikolai Todorov, an academic and diplomat who chaired Bulgaria's first
post-Communist Parliament, died Wednesday, the state BTA news agency reported. He
was 82. Todorov chaired the Grand National Assembly from Sept. 1990 till June 1991
while it produced a new democratic constitution following the fall of communism. After
serving as Bulgarian ambassador to Greece, Todorov spent five years as deputy chairman
of the Bulgarian Academy of Science. He also chaired the General Conference of the
United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in 1985 and 1986.
Todorov founded and led the Institute of Balkan Studies within the Bulgarian Academy
of Science.
