Information trouvée : James Cuno announced plans to retire from his post as the president and CEO of the J. Paul Getty Trust (communiqué du 28 juin 2021). Cuno joined the Getty Trust in August 2011. Prior to joining Getty, Cuno was president of the Art Institute of Chicago from 2004 to 2011, where he oversaw the development of its Modern Wing, a large gallery and education building designed by Renzo Piano. Prior to that, he was director and professor of the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London, from 2003 to 2004; the Elizabeth and John Moors Cabot Director of the Harvard University Art Museums and professor of the history of art and architecture at Harvard from 1991 to 2003; director of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, from 1989 to 1991; director of the Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts, UCLA, from 1986 to 1989; and assistant professor of art, Vassar College, from 1983 to 1986. Cuno received his AM and PhD in the History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University in 1980 and 1985; an MA in the History of Art from the University of Oregon in 1978; and a BA in History from Willamette University in 1973
