from the Spanish conquest, died on Dec. 10 [1999]at Kaiser Hospital in Oakland, Calif.
He was 86 and lived in Berkeley.Born on Dec. 23, 1912, in Utica, Miss., Dr. Borah
graduated from high school in Los Angeles and attended the University of California
at Berkeley, where he earned his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
