his books on Arabic literature, has died at the age of 95. Born to a religious family
in the Nile Delta town of Dumyat on Jan. 13, 1910In 1942 he received a doctorate for
his work, Artistic Genres in Arabic Poetry,He taught Arabic literature at Cairo University
for nearly 50 years.
